Colo de avó
Há quem diga que não tem avó ou que já teve e não tem mais, mas é engano. Todo mundo tem avó. Tem avó que a gente conhece, tem avó que a gente não chega a conhecer. Tem avó de sangue, tem avó por adoção. De um jeito ou de outro, nossas avós estão sempre com a gente: é delas que vem nosso jeito especial ou aquele ditado que ninguém da família esquece. Esse livro é uma homenagem ao tipo mais maravilhoso de avó: aquela que tem o colo mais macio, o abraço mais apertado e, no lugar do coração, tem um ninho, sempre pronto, à espera do netinho.

The book brings the affectionate world with plenty of imagination present in the relationship between grandmothers and their grandchildren. Grandmothers change their homes because their grandchildren are arriving. Grandchildren become pirates and grandchildren again, strolling in tricycles till reaching the tallest cloud. Or cloud the walking-stick turn into a little of everything: magic wand, a gigant arm, a fishing pole or a motor starter. Thus, the author is handcrafting dreams and poetry that put the reader in the warm and soft lap of grandmothers.
